What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
Tab Trade - The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for most retail traders. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform your decision.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that works is your call.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
